Senior Somali police officials briefed the visiting delegation on the structure, operational capabilities, specialized training, and ongoing security missions carried out by the respective units.

Officials accompanying the delegation observed demonstrations highlighting tactical preparedness, criminal investigation procedures, intelligence coordination, and counterterrorism response capabilities. The visit also included discussions on professional development, operational planning, and areas for future technical cooperation between the two police institutions.

A senior Somali Police Force official said the visit reflects the growing security partnership between the neighboring countries and their shared commitment to addressing regional security challenges through stronger institutional collaboration.

"The exchange of operational experience and professional expertise contributes directly to improving policing standards and strengthening our collective response to transnational security threats," the official said during the visit.

A member of the Djiboutian delegation said closer cooperation between the two police forces would support long-term regional stability by encouraging regular exchanges of training, intelligence, and best practices.

"The security challenges facing the Horn of Africa require sustained cooperation between neighboring institutions. Professional partnerships such as this help build stronger operational capacity for both services," the delegation member said.
