Erez Eskal, head of Israel’s National Artificial Intelligence Directorate, described the decision as a foundational step for the country’s future economic and security resilience. He said nations that successfully embed artificial intelligence across governance and industry systems will define the next technological era, adding that Israel must remain at the forefront of that transition through coordinated state-led investment.
